M1 Sample Prep Kits – Syringe Sterility expiration

Biomeme is issuing an update regarding the 1 mL Luer Lock syringe included with M1 Sample Prep products.

For the products listed below, the included syringe may have exceeded the labeled sterility expiration date. M1 Sample Prep Kits are non-sterile by design, and a sterile syringe is not required for the intended use of these kits. The syringe remains suitable for its intended functional use when package integrity is maintained.

Affected Products

  • M1 Sample Prep for RNA/DNA (3000536R)
  • M1 Sample Prep Cartridge Kit for DNA-HI (3000133)

What This Means

  • The included syringe may no longer be represented as sterile beyond the labeled sterility expiration date.
  • This does not impact the form, fit, or functional performance of the syringe for use with the non-sterile M1 products listed above.
  • This does not affect the quality or performance of the M1 kits for their intended use.
