Does Biomeme Lysis Buffer inactivate infectious agents (i.e. COVID-19 samples)?

We have not completed deactivation studies on COVID-19; however, we have data demonstrating that our DNA and RNA lysis buffers deactivate P. aeruginosa after 10 minutes incubation at Room Temperature. Pseudomonas aeruginosa was selected because it is a known model for difficult to inactivate pathogens commonly found in healthcare facilities. It is a BSL-2, gram negative, non-sporulated bacterium.
